Mag Club began as a post-work hangout in 2019, since then it evolved into a nationwide community. People come to Mag Club to connect with fellow magazine lovers, discover new titles, and occasionally, read a magazine they’d never pick up otherwise.

Keeping the Club Alive.

Mag Club is run by a team of one, with the help of some creative collaborators. As a result, I’ve learned A LOT. From business strategy to web design to vendor relations, my hands are in every pot—or issue rather.

  • The heart of Mag Club is our monthly Substack newsletter. I personally research, write, and edit every edition.

  • For local NYC club members, I organize semi-regular ‘Field Trips’, bi-annual pop-ups, and, of course, our seasonal club discussion.

  • Our online store is my small part to increase nation-wide accessibility to indie print magazines. Each title is hand-picked for the store.
